Job Description:
The Field Safety Technician supports the implementation and enforcement of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) programs within a chemical manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for conducting field inspections, monitoring worker compliance, assisting with safety training, and ensuring adherence to OSHA, EPA, and company-specific safety standards. The technician plays a key role in identifying hazards, investigating incidents, and promoting a strong safety culture among employees and contractors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine safety audits, inspections, and job safety analyses in field and plant operations.
• Monitor use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe work practices.
• Assist in incident investigations and root cause analyses.
• Support safety training sessions and onboarding for field personnel.
• Maintain accurate safety documentation and assist with regulatory reporting.

• Associate degree or safety certification (e.g., OSHA 30, CHST) preferred.
• 2+ years of field safety experience in a chemical or industrial manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other relevant regulations.
• Excellent communication and observational skills.
