Job Summary:
The Food Service District Manager oversees the management of food service operations within Jiffy Trip Store locations, focusing on operational excellence, quality, safety, and financial performance. The Food Service District Manager will ensure compliance with regulations, develop and implement strategies for improvement, and coach and mentor Store Managers and Food Service Managers.

Responsibilities Include:
Quality:
• Align the quality and standard of all Legacy Jiffy Trip Food Service Operations.
• Perform Quarterly Dashboard Audits at each Food Service Operation. Schedule a follow up meeting with Store Manager and Food Service Manager, as applicable, to discuss findings and develop an action plan for improvement. Follow up regularly to ensure change has been made and maintained.
• Monitor the presentation of food in each store to ensure the highest quality and presentation.
• Analyze each kitchen against the company standard and formulate recommendations to ensure compliance with following policy and procedure, such as temping food, keeping equipment/kitchen clean, checking in trucks correctly, ensuring employees are following first in-first out and following recipes.
Profitability:
• Improve sales while reducing waste to generate increased gross profit dollars through engagement with employees, in training, support, and communication.
Food Safety:
• Review performance for each Legacy Kitchen, ensuring quality, cleanliness and food safety.
• Field questions, ensure equipment is working correctly or assist in ordering new equipment when needed.
• Ensure all employees are in uniform and wearing aprons, gloving and hand washing per safety standard, packaging and labeling correctly.
Training:
• Assist with training and startup for both new store openings and new food concept installations, as needed.
• Schedule and hold routine meetings with Store Managers and Food Service Managers and provide updates of store needs, compliance, and concerns to Leadership. Provide training to Managers and Team Members as needed to improve overall performance.
Performance:
• Provide support to each Legacy Store to maximize the bottom line.
• Review performance for each Legacy Kitchen, ensuring quality, cleanliness and food safety. Assist in the development of action plans for improvement, when needed.
Inventory Management:
• Responsible for supporting inventory management process and procedures to ensure profitability targets are achieved.
Operations:
• Assist Manager of Food Service Operations, as needed, for all Food Service programs, in Legacy Stores and JT's Restaurants.
• Participate in remodels and acquisitions to ensure the highest operational performance.
Experience:
• A minimum of four years management experience in industries such as hospitality, retail or restaurant
• Ability, willingness, and comfort to engage with customers
• Ability to develop positive relationships with internal and external customers
• Strong desire to exceed corporate initiatives and inspire excellence in a team
• Exhibited leadership experience
• Proficient with the use of a computer and various software including MS Office and email
• Ability to problem solve and work with minimal supervision
• Collaborative management experience
• Ability to maintain professional, high integrity relationships with all coworkers, vendors and employees
• Ability to utilize discretion when exposed to confidential information
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:
• Position requires bending, standing, walking and repetitive use of hands and arms the entire workday.
• Must have the ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Must have the ability to respond to calls 24 hours a day.
• Must be able to drive to various locations throughout the State
• 90% travel, 10% Office/Administration
• Must be flexible with work hours, working 40+ hours per week.
• Must have a valid driver's license and the ability to drive
• Company car will be provided
