JOB DESCRIPTION

POSITION SUMMARY: Sanitation Lead PR07 - Full Time - Enid, OK 73701

Position starts at $23.20/HR with a .85 shift differential for 3rd shift

This position is responsible for leading and coordinating the activities of the Sanitation team, while also adhering to food safety practices and company policies.

RESPONSIBILITIES & REQUIREMENTS:
  • Must be willing and able to disassemble equipment for cleaning, sanitizing work areas and setting up equipment for inspection and start-up
  • Must be willing and able to breakdown and set-up equipment when needed
  • Must be willing and able to clean assigned equipment in safe and accurate manner using high pressure hoses
  • Must be willing and able to use chemical cleaners to foam and clean all areas of production
  • Must be willing and able to examine common machine parts and components for excessive wear
  • Must be willing and able to prepare equipment and machines for reassemble after completion of cleaning
  • Must be willing and able to ensure that all guards removed are properly replaced after cleaning
  • Must be willing and able to follow all necessary procedures to meet USDA and Quality Control Regulations
  • Must be willing and able to communicate/coordinate with other departments to ensure optimum, efficient utilization of non-running time to properly maintain company's equipment
  • Must be willing and able to properly wear personal protective equipment as required and provided by the company and in accordance with GMP's/company standards
  • Must be willing and able to ensure safe and proper use of tools and equipment and ensuring hand tools are free of defects
  • Must be willing and able to maintain neat and orderly work area, including proper storage/disposal of solvents, paints, and other cleaning chemicals in accordance with OSHA, EPA and other regulatory agencies and company policy
  • Must be willing and able to perform Lock Out Tag Out responsibilities for safe operation
  • Must be willing and able to obtain Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) certification
  • Must be willing and able to perform any other work as assigned by supervisor
  • Must be willing and able to push, pull, and carry up to 75 lbs. repeatedly or more if required.
  • Must be willing and able to stand and walk on hard surface for up to 12 hours per day.
  • Must be willing and able to work in cold/hot temperatures ranging 45-100 degrees.
  • Must be willing and able to perform repetitive bending, reaching, squatting, gripping, pushing and pulling.
  • Must be willing and able to reach high and low levels, frequently.
  • Must be willing and able to climb step ladders and/or stairs.
  • Must be willing and able to work overtime and weekends.
  • Position will require safety certification to operate forklift, lock out tag out certification, fall protection, and confined space training.
