POSITION SUMMARY
The Admissions Coordinator, Volunteers will further the mission of RoundupRiver Ranch through supporting volunteers through an inclusive, engaging, and customer focused admissions process. This position is part of the recruitment and admissions team and plays a vital role in stewarding volunteers and ensuring an efficient and positive admissions, application, and hiring process. Successful candidates will have foundational knowledge and experience managing a database or applicant tracking system and have a passion for the Roundup River Ranch Mission. This highly administrative position is office based at our campsite in Gypsum with travel required in the local area and Front Range (Denver).
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Ensure all recruitment and admissions processes support the mission, vision, and values of Roundup River Ranch
- Follow established compliance and best practice in all elements of the role
- Serve as primary contact for assigned portfolio of volunteers through excellent customer service and timely communications
- Ensure that volunteer applications are complete and in compliance
- Be responsive to medical team requirements during the volunteer application process
- Serve as the main contact for picking up and dropping off out-of-state volunteers during the onsite camp season
- Support with high volume printing of labels and rosters for onsite Summer and Family Camps
- Serve as the recruitment support for the Western Slope region including supporting recruitment events and presentations.
- Support volunteer application process by scheduling and conducting interviews.
- Support volunteer training and orientations onsite and online as appropriate
- Maintain the highest level of confidentiality in all aspects of role, including all medical information and records.
- Serve as an ambassador for Roundup River Ranch at community and recruitment events in the Vail Valley and other areas, as needed.
- Help promote Roundup River Ranch camp opportunities to Spanish speaking communities
- Knowledgeable and able to support in all database functions for both campers and volunteers.
- Provide support and resources for Spanish speaking applicants
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS - At least 2 years intermediate level administrative or database experience
- Intermediate to advanced computer literacy with proficiency and working knowledge of database and reporting tools such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
- Applicants fluent in Spanish will be prioritized

Special Conditions: The Admissions Coordinator position may require occasional long days while camp is in session. This position will require occasional travel. The schedule of this position will change throughout the year to accommodate the camp schedule. This may include weekends, holidays, and evenings

Benefits: This full-time, year-round position is eligible for a comprehensive benefits package including 100% subsidized health, vision and dental insurance for employee only coverage, our Wellness Benefit Program with a value of $1,000 and a 403(b) retirement plan with a 3% employer match. Employees are eligible for 20 days (160 hours) of PTO in their first year, in addition to 10 paid public holidays.
