Job Description Job Description IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR: Store Manager BASIC FUNCTION: responsible for representing the company in developing excellent customer relationships with all existing and potential customers through informative, efficient and friendly service. RESPONSIBILITIES ( other duties may be assigned as needed): Follow up on quotes, outstanding orders, etc Develop, lead and expand existing accounts Provide a high level of customer service to ensure clients complete satisfaction Develop relationships with customers responding to their questions efficiently and courteously Process orders in person, on phone or via email Efficient communication with dispatcher coordinating delivery requests to ensure efficiency and customer satisfaction Discussing features and benefits of products and services Determining customers' needs and recommending appropriate products and solutions, up-selling additional products and supplies for each job Answering incoming phone calls and emails to assist customers in a timely manner Accepting payment and applying it to the appropriate customer account Reordering products to keep the store and warehouse shelves well stocked SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & ABILITIES: Ability to read, write, and speak in English Able to complete basic math and measurement skills Proficient with Microsoft Office products 2 years of Building material knowledge and or experience Detail oriented To be self-motivated and have a strong work ethic Ability to work independently and within a team setting Communication (verbal communication, persuasive impact, listening, written communication) PHYSICAL DEMANDS Ability to lift, carry, and otherwise transport work-related materials that frequently weigh up to 25 lbs. and that may occasionally weigh in excess of 25 lbs Ability to stand and sit, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
