JOB SUMMARY:
As Senior Manager, IT Delivery, you will lead the end-to-end delivery of technology solutions and services for the Firm's Knowledge & Innovation and Office of the General Counsel (OGC) functions. You will translate business priorities into a measurable delivery roadmap, ensure strong governance and execution across the portfolio, and continuously improve how we deliver.
In this role, you will define and execute a technology strategy that advances operational and business objectives through innovative, scalable, and efficient solutions. You will partner with teams across IT to resolve delivery and service issues, manage escalations, and strengthen engagement, support, and responsiveness.
You will serve as a trusted partner to senior stakeholders, ensuring technology initiatives deliver clear business value while maintaining operational excellence and disciplined risk and control management.
JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Portfolio Delivery and Execution
- Partner with business stakeholders and IT SMEs to develop and maintain a multi-year technology roadmap aligned to the functional strategy and priorities.
- Track delivery performance, manage cross-project interdependencies, and proactively identify and mitigate risks and issues across programs and projects.
- Lead delivery governance reviews and ensure teams follow firmwide PMO, change management, and control standards.
Business Partnership & Strategic Alignment - Serve as the primary liaison between assigned functions and IT, translating business needs into scalable, supportable technology solutions.
- Build strong stakeholder relationships to understand priorities, align expectations, and define measurable outcomes.
- Ensure functional strategies and IT initiatives stay aligned, identifying opportunities where technology can improve efficiency, enable innovation, and advance business goals.
- Define and track success metrics; provide clear, regular updates to stakeholders and leadership on outcomes, delivery status, performance, risks, issues, and timelines across the portfolio.
Issue Resolution and Operational Excellence - Serve as an escalation point for system issues and guide resolution in collaboration with internal IT and vendors where applicable.
- Build and manage relationships with vendors, ensuring high-quality delivery and support of IT systems.
- Ensure all systems meet security, technology, cloud and other standard compliance by partnering with the other IT teams.
- Partner with IT support teams to ensure solutions are delivered with high performance, reliability, and strong end-user satisfaction.
EDUCATION: - Bachelor's degree in information technology, or equivalent experience
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE: - 10-15 years of progressive IT experience leading enterprise delivery, transformation, and stakeholder engagement (experience supporting enterprise services functions is a plus).
- Law firm or professional services experience is helpful but not required.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the confidence to challenge the status quo constructively.
- Proven delivery leadership and a track record of implementing continuous improvement in execution, governance, and service.
- Ability to translate ambiguous problems and ideas into well-defined, actionable initiatives and technical delivery plans.
- Experience leading global technology solution implementations
- Working knowledge of AI/ML capabilities and tools, and ability to identify practical use cases and risks in an enterprise environment.
- Familiarity with enterprise platforms (e.g.Document Management, Workflow Tools, Microsoft 365, and Power Platform) is a plus.
- Agile mindset with a design-thinking approach to delivering user-centered solutions.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with executive presence and the ability to influence across functions and levels.
- Proven success managing vendor relationships and leading cross-functional teams
- Experienced in driving alignment in global environments
Salary Information NY Only: The estimated base salary range for this position is $190,000 to $220,000 at the time of posting.
The actual salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. This role is exempt meaning it is not overtime pay eligible.
