A company is looking for a Nuclear Shielding and Criticality Engineer.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform MCNP calculations and document results in formal calculation packagesConduct radiation shielding calculations for gammas and neutronsSupport criticality safety assessments and related engineering tasksRequired Qualifications and EducationB.S. degree in Nuclear Engineering with 10+ years of experience, or M.S. with 6+ years, or Ph.D. with 3+ yearsStrong skills in MCNP and experience with radiation shielding calculationsFamiliarity with variance reduction techniques and MCNP featuresExperience in an NQA-1 quality program is desirableKnowledge of basic nuclear reactor design concepts is a plus
