A company is looking for a Communications DSP Engineer to develop next-generation modem technologies for free space optical communication systems.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and optimize coherent DSP algorithms for high-speed communication systemsArchitect end-to-end modem DSP chains and perform system-level modeling and performance analysisCollaborate with hardware and firmware teams to integrate DSP algorithms into modem designsRequired QualificationsActive security clearance, or eligibility to obtain oneM.S. or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related fieldStrong foundation in digital signal processing and communication theoryHands-on experience with coherent DSP or high-speed SerDes/optical systemsProficiency in MATLAB, Python, and/or C/C++ for modeling and algorithm development
